The Dark Knight Rises Review!

The final part of the most anticipated  film of 2012, did it live up to the hype?

In what can only be described as an explosive ending to the batman trilogy, the dark knight rises, in my opinion, certainly  lived up to the hype! With intense and critical performances from Tom hardy as 'Bane' and an impressive 'Catwoman' portrayal from Anne Hathaway, the film promises a more than entertaining experience. Christian Bale donned the mask for the last time in this action epic, but a surprising end will leave you shocked, without a doubt. The plot took many twists and turns, after what seemed an unnecessary long start, however, once the pace livens up, we delve deeper into the back-story of pivotal characters,  and see a whole new storyline developing within Gotham. Christopher Nolan  deserves every bit of credit for what many critics are describing as 'the best trilogy ever' so don't give it a miss, make sure you watch it on the big-screen while there's still time!

    Solid review Kurran. This is probably my favorite movie of the year for one reason and one reason only: it was probably, if not, the most epic piece of cinema I have seen in quite some time. Great send-off to everybody’s favorite caped-crusader, even as sad as it may be. Now it’s just time for Superman to hit that big-screen once again.
